Who’s Going to Die in the Coronation Street Factory Collapse?

ITV soap ‘Coronation Street’ has been on our screens since the early 1960’s. It’s not the safest place to live though with multiple death rates. If a train flying off the viaduct doesn’t get you, the latest serial killer to move into the street will.

Another death is on its way as the ‘Underworld’ factory is due to collapse (a bit like the ratings in recent years). Just who dies has yet to be revealed, so cue a betting market on who is on their way out of the show.

Bye Bye Rana?

We already know that the ‘Underworld disaster will see one Corrie favourite die but who will it be? Current favourite to perish is Rana Habeeb who’s 1/4 (1.25) at Betway to be the fire’s victim. Actress Bhavna Limbachia who plays the role is leaving the show and has apparently asked for her character to have a tragic ending. Will it be when the factory collapses?

Rana is due to be marry her girlfriend Kate Connor. It appears not only is this a dangerous street but a loving one too. Characters seem to nearly always marry others living in the street and all work there too, well until the factory collapses. Will the couple get married only to see Rana die soon after? Sounds a typical soap story doesn’t it?

Is Izzy on the Way Out?

Other contenders include the wheelchair bound Izzy who’s 5/2 at Betway to not make it out of the factory alive. Sadly the odds on Tracy Barlow getting killed are only 40/1 (41.0) but surely her time will come one day!

Who Does It?

Just who causes the factory to collapse hasn’t been confirmed. Latest odds at Betway have Tyler Jefferies as the 7/2 (4.5) favourite to commit the deadly deed. A bet on Richard Hillman at 200/1 (201.0) can probably be ruled out seeing he died in the canal years ago or did he?
