Gambling game developer Spiffbet has linked-up with Jokerbet to re-launch its Take5 live game for the Spanish market. The game has been rebranded as Joker-5 for the new launch, to increase its appeal with Spanish players and to emphasise the link with Jokerbet.

The innovative mobile game gives players the ability to choose a football match and make a bet if they think that there will be a goal during the next five minutes. The Spanish launch of the game comes just a few days after Spiffbet received an award for the Best Virtual Sports/Game Innovation at an awards ceremony in London.

Commenting on the launch, the CEO of Spiffbet, Lennart Gillberg, said that the company was delighted to be working with Jokerbet, one of Spain’s major gaming players, and that they would be exploring a range of other opportunities with their Spanish partners.

In partnering with Spiffbet, Jokerbet CEO Jorge Justicia said that they hoped the Joker-5 game would bring new customers to the company, and that it would create an impact socially as it is designed to be an easy game to pick and play. He also said that they would be exploring other projects with Spiffbet going forward.

The technology behind the original Take5 game was showcased in 2017 and is designed to offer a straightforward betting product for beginners, at the same time bridging the gap between sports bettors, who tend to focus on odds, and casino players who are more motivated by the fun of playing.
