Spanish gaming company Red Rake Gaming will now be able to provide games content to the UK market after it was announced that they have obtained a remote gambling software licence.

The Valencia-based company have said that they will be launching gaming content at some point in the next few weeks after successfully concluding the testing of an initial batch of games against the relevant UK Gambling Commission standards. The company is also working on a second tranche of games though these have yet to be certified.

Speaking about the new license, the Managing Director of Red Rake, Nick Barr, said that it was a key part of their plans for the new year and would benefit many of their clients:

“Acquiring the licences to operate in the UK market is a great step in our regulated strategy for 2019. It will have an immediate impact as many of our customers have UKGC licences and they will be able now to offer our games to their UK player base.”

Barr said that many of the UK operators that Red Rake serves had requested the new content, and that by meeting the stringent standards of the UKGC to gain the licence, the company had underlined their commitment to responsible and transparent gaming.

Red Rake currently works with several UK-licensed operators in a number of European countries, including Italy, Romania and Spain. The current client portfolio includes well known operators such as Betsson, iSoftBet, Marathonbet and SBTech.
