The 91st Academy Awards ceremony will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles on February 24th this year. A few days the final votes for nominees were accepted and the ballots were closed, with the official list of nominations to be finalized on January 22nd.

Roma, from Gravity director Alfonso Cuaron, is a black and white autobiographical drama that has already won multiple awards, including two Golden Globes for Best Director and Best Foreign Language Film. It is leading the competition so far, with equal (1/1) odds from Betfair, Bet365, Bet Victor and Paddy Power and 6/5 odds from Ladbrokes, Coral and William Hill.

The touching story about the discovery of a nightclub singer, A Star is Born, comes a close second with 9/4 odds from Bet365, Skybet, Ladbrokes and Unibet and 2/1 odds from Betfair, Bet Victor, and Paddy Power.

Green Book gets an average of 8/1 odds from several bookies and Bohemian Rhapsody an average of 10/1 odds.

Christian Bale’s performance as the 46th vice president of the United States, Dick Cheney, in Vice, earns him the second most likely chance at Best Actor. He gets 7/4 odds from Skybet, Ladbrokes and Coral and 6/4 odds from Betfair and Paddy Power.

Glenn Close currently has the highest chance of winning best actress for her role as Joan in the film version of The Wife, based on the book by Meg Wolitzer. Ladbrokes, Betfair and Paddy Power give Glenn a 4/9 chance, with Bet365 and Bet Victor giving her 2/5 odds.

Olivia Coleman comes in a close second for her performance as Queen Anne in 18th century period drama The Favourite. Bookies give her 9/4 odds from Betfair and Paddy Power and 5/2 odds from Skybet and Betfred.

Third place goes to controversial pop singer Lady Gaga for her role in A Star is Born, which follows the fictional story of Ally Maine, an undiscovered nightclub singer.
