Oneida Nation Strikes Deal with Caesars

The Oneida Indian Nation has announced a new licensing and branding deal with Caesars Entertainment that will bring sports betting to New York in 2019

The deal, which is still subject to approval by the National Indian Gaming Commission, will see the launch of sports betting facilities at the Oneida nation’s Turning Stone, Yellow Brick Road Casino and Point Place Casinos in upstate New York.

As part of the agreement, players will be able to redeem Rewards loyalty points, and have their player tier levels matched for Rewards points at all Caesars venues, and the same exchange will be available for any Caesar player using one of the Oneida Indian Nation sites. Caesars have also stated that they will be sponsoring player promotions and special events at the venues.

Speaking about the deal, the Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter said that they were delighted to be working with a major player in the casino industry:

“We are pleased to be joining forces with this world-renowned gaming leader. Like Oneida Nation Enterprises, Caesars has built its business on exceptional service, as well as a dedication to constant innovation. These shared values create the perfect synergy for a meaningful long-term partnership.”
