GVC Brands Launch In Sweden

Gambling giant GVC Holdings has announced that it will be launching its well-known brands bwin and partypoker in Sweden, following the award of a Swedish gaming licence.

Both of the brands will offer players unique websites along with an Android mobile app option. An iOS version is also due to be launched in the next few days.

According to GVC, the bwin.se site will draw on the content from their well-known European sports betting brand, and will give customers the chance to bet pre-match and in-play across a number of different sporting events.

Swedish players will also be able to use the GVC casino platform, which features casino gaming content from over 30 games developers, along with unique titles created by the GVC in-house software studio. In total, the platform includes 650 slots, jackpots and live table games, many of which are exclusive games that Swedish players will not be able play elsewhere.

GVC’s poker platform will be provided by partypoker.se, which is a local version of its famous poker brand. Swedish customers will also have access to partypoker’s tournament schedule, which includes the Power Series, Daily Majors and Super Sunday, along with its range of Sit & Go Jackpots.

Speaking about the launch, the Chief Operating Officer of GVC, Shay Segev, said that the company was pleased to start 2019 in a positive fashion and to extend their service to a new market:

“We are confident that Swedish customers will enjoy what we believe is the best and most comprehensive online gaming experience in the market.”
