Grisly Game of Thrones Odds

April sees the final series of ‘Game of Thrones’ and there are plenty of markets available for you to bet on. Considering the nature of the hit series, it’s not surprising that several of the markets are death-related.

Who Will Kill Cersei?

It’s astonishing that Cersei Lannister has made it to the final series. She doesn’t exactly have that many friends and even her lover can’t stand her double-dealing. The woman who once had to walk through the streets on a walk of shame is more than unlikely to be alive by the time this series comes to an end. BetVictor have her at 1/33 (1.03) to breathe her last breath in the final series.

Brotherly Hate

No one is going to get rich from that bet, so the best bet on who will kill her. Her twin-brother/lover is Jamie Lannister and he’s the 8/11 (1.72) favourite at SkyBet to do us all a favour and kill her. He was disgusted at her plans to double-cross their supposed allies. There’s also the complication that Cersei is pregant or is she?

Arya Stark has a list and Cersei is most likely sitting at the top of it. She’s 7/4 (2.75) at SkyBet to stick her favourite sword through the heart of Cersei. Third favourite is Tyrion Lannister who already has plenty of reasons to kill Cersei and has already committed murder at King’s Landing. He’s 8/1 (9.0) at SkyBet to kill his sister.

Enter the Night King

Could the Night King make it all the way to King’s Landing? Season seven ended with his army making it through the Wall and anything could happen in the final series. Killing Cersei could put him on the Iron Throne and it’s 16/1 (17.0) at SkyBet that he murders her. Of course he could then bring her back to life as his Queen but that’s another long discussion.
