Wouldn’t you just love to move out of the hectic city and live in the country? If you do, then don’t head to Emmerdale. This supposedly quiet village is home to everything from blackmail to murder on a regular basis. Honestly, the number of unsolved murders in the area is appalling.

Betway have a market on which characters may die in 2019 and there are some good odds available. It may be a village but this soap does love its disasters with plane crashes, fires aplenty and car crashes galore. If they don’t get you the serial killers will, so who might be on their way out this year?

Farewell Diane?

Diane Sugden is the favourite at Betway to be killed off this year. She’s available at 8/1 (9.0) to not make it to 2020. There’s been no word on whether actress Elizabeth Estensen is leaving the show but it’s 20 years since her character first appeared in the show. Since then she’s survived the helicopter crash, been stabbed and survived cancer. Perhaps this year she won’t be so lucky?

Is Robert on His Way Out?

There’s barely anyone in Emmerdale that Robert Sugden hasn’t upset with his constant scheming. That’s why there were so many suspects when he was shot a few years ago. With more double-dealing likely in the coming months, the odds of 20/1 (21.0) at Betway might be worth taking.

Bye Bye Brenda (or Bob?)

If it’s not the disasters or serial killers that get you, the aftermaths of the latest love triangle might. Brenda Walker was shocked when her partner Bob Hope (no, not that one) cheated on her with Laurel. Bob has been having a tough time of it since Laurel got rid of him so could he be on his way out?

Hope (not a suitable name for this show) is 33/1 (34.0) to die and probably even longer odds on saying something funny. As for Brenda, she’s only 9/1 (10.0) to be killed off this year.
