The online poker company Stars Group has been backed by the Kentucky Court of Appeals, which has reversed a $870m judgement made in December 2015.   The legal action that was the subject of the appeal was filed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky in 2010, four years before the Stars Group’s bought the PokerStars business. Pennsylvania Casinos Fined More Than $200,000 

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has imposed significant fines on two casinos in the state over breaches in the rules regarding underage gaming and underage access to alcohol. The two casinos, which are operated by Mount Airy and Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association, have been hit with total fines of $210,000 for the violations.   The stringent penalties were approved by the Board at a public meeting between the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel and the two casino operators involved.   Mountainview Thoroughbred …
